I like it - it's a serious mystery show as they are solving real crimes of actual murders and such, but it has the comedy that can only come from having a neurotic detective so brilliantly played by Tony Shalhoub... my future mother in law even has a crush on Tony - go Figure.

I liked the show Monk. I watched the 1st season religiously. I especially liked the original Sharona Fleming played by Bitty Schram. Her relationship with Monk was really cool. She didn't let his problems hold him back.
Season 2 even though I think Traylor Howard the actor who plays Natalie Teager is great, I don't like how the writers have written their interactions. The writers are enabling Monk to be this way. It is like they are making fun of him. It is almost uncomfortable to watch.

Hahaha! I love Monk my mom and i always watch that show! I think it's a really good idea to name a snake Mr.Monk! Have fun with your new snake!:)

I tried to watch it because people absolutely rave about the show. I find him infuriating and I want to slap him around so , no, I can't watch it. He is odious and not even in a good way.
I think your poor snake deserves better.
