A cat.
They get to do what they want, and are not judged for it.
They offer affection, and are great teachers.
They can jump the equivilent of 5 stories high.
If they are not fed, they can find food for themselves.
They can be the center of attention, or fade into the background.

My umbrella cockatoo, b/c she goes everywhere with me, gets fed the best food, gets new toys all the time, and is considered a princess at my house. We love her so much!

probably a quetzal, a bird worshipped for its feathers by the aztecs and many other central american civilizations. it's really beautiful.
