No. Our Armistice day observed on November 11, was converted to "Veteran's Day". World War One is largely overshadowed by the Civil War and World War Two, Vietnam, and Iraqi Freedom. This is depite the fact it was one of our bloodier conflicts. In actual combat the USA lost around 100,000 men in only 5-1/2 months of combat.

Remenberance Day is the last day in May we call it Memorial Day. There is no name for September 11 yet.

On Memorial Day all people are should observe a moment of silence for ALL People who have given their life in the service of the United States.
