Tomato seeds to be used the following year should be stored at 35-50 degrees. The attached link gives more details.

Of course you can; but why worry. Tomato seeds easily hold over a year with good germination rates.

I just dry them out,tomatoes don't like the cold,I'm not sure the seeds would either.

i would not freeze them just keep them in a cool dark place in a brown paper bag
