He said he is going to let them know much quicker than last year. Sadly the reason the team was so horrible this year was that he held out so long and that effected their offseason acquisitions.
He already knows the answer so he should just announce it already. His decision effects more than just him. And that, "I need to check with my family" crap doesn't fly anymore. Maybe the first 2-3 times he said that, but not now.

favre is like one fo those singers who announce retirement just so he can get attention, he also cries at the end of the show. he is no longer a top notch qb, so the only way he can keep people talking about him is to keep rumors going.

after he sees how he was playing he will come back. He finaly has a team put together
