Because they were there first and feel like we're just visitors that won't go away.

Because they are more big than you and they love you and in their own way they try to protect you and teach you things they already know...this is not a bad thing!!! I have a big sister to and before I was thinking the same way you do now but belive my now we are best friends and we speak about everything....

They feel that they have already "been there, done that", and have their own problems to worry about. All big sisters are the same way. When you both get older, you will get along better and be able to talk about more.

I don't know. Maybe they want get a big respect from their little sister. Well, my big sister same like that too. Sometimes I hate her. If she start make me angry, I always wish that wish I had a brother, not sister.

janet? Is that you? I am NOT a pain. LOL...big sisters tend to want to mother you. It's not that we want to be a pain, it's more that we don't want you to suffer what we have suffered. We want to give our experience to keep hurt away from you...much like a mother does. Believe it or not, we love our little sisters.

Be cause we can be :-) Don't worry, I'm sure she feels the same way about you. I don't know how old you are, but you'll probably grow out of it. Me and my LS used to fight all the time. But when we grew up and moved out of the house we got real close. Good luck!

It depends on the way older siblings treat younger ones. Sometimes they spoil them and they'll have a closer relationship then others who could care less about their little siblings and care more about themselves.
