I have learned in life that there is really no one to talk to when you have problems (like marriage problems)
If you try to talk about sex and/or marriage problems to your 'guy' friends, they say you're gay (and their answers are dumb anyways)
But if you talk about the same things with a close female friend about it, you're a cheating *******.
It's the same on this website....I've been checking lots of answers from other questions.
So who the hell CAN I talk to????? I can't afford a counsellor!

If your married , its always best to talk to your mate about marital problems. Sometimes its okay to get imput from another close guy friend who is also married. He may have experienced something simular. Basically there should not be anything you can not discuss with your spouse. Your concerns are not your own, your in a partnership. Get your wife involved, and stop feeling like you have to solve the problems on your own.

There are many counselors out there to talk to, also your family or really close friends who know you best. You should be able to talk to your wife about your problems in a constructive, non-critical way. And you aren't cheating if you are trying to get advice on how to make your marriage work (as long as you are absolutely keeping everything platonic), try your wife's best friend or sister as she knows her best! Good luck.

You need to talk to your wife and try to work things out with her. You do not go to your male friends or any lady friends and talk about your marriage. There are free counselors at churches that will help you if you cannot afford one. If my husband was going around telling his friends about our personal life I would be really mad. If my husband was going and telling his female friends I would want to kick his *** or hit him with a frying pan. Any guy who is out there talking to another women about his wife and his problems is only wanting sympathy and some sex.

I will try to help - if at all possible - hopefully, by keeping an open mind and several years of experence - we can figure something out. If it's beyond my experience, I will tell you, I don't like being lead along with no idea to work on.

I'm listening. Try a chat room and you can find someone that you can talk too. Sometimes it's easier telling our problems to strangers and getting their opinions on things.
Hope things work out for you!

Why would anyone accuse of you of cheating just because you are looking for advice from a female? Sounds like you are putting pressure on yourself. If you are having probs with your wife then why not do the obvious things and talk to her?

See if either you or your wife's employers offer EAP (Employee Assistance Program) with the benefits package. Counselling for various issues is included with this.

If you go to church, talk to your pastor. If you don't, call some local churches. Most pastors are trained as counsellors and will counsel you at no cost.

People will be more likely to answer you with serious and thoughtful answers if you will phrase your questions more specifically and if you don't use profanity in your posts.
