Xbox 360 or Wii?
To me, Xbox 360 looks awesome, but the Wii kinda catches my eye, too. Any opinions?

Depends on what you would prefer. The price tag on the Wii is much better (250 vs 400) and it actually comes with a game. XBox live is much better than the Wii if you plan on gaming with others online, but it's arcade selection is sorry. The Wii is better if you're a retro gamer. If you're a Halo/Gears of war kind of person, or someone who's more concerned about graphics go for the 360. It's defintely better graphics wise. But if you're a casual gamer, and you're looking for great value in the system (and the games) the Wii is a better choice. We haven't bought the Wii yet, but we will. Just don't buy the PS3. It's a total waste.

it all comes down to personal tastes, I had a playstation 1 and 2 and I am waiting for the ps3 to be released next, people who had a xbox also upgraded to a xbox 360 and likewise with nintendo, most who now own a wii probably had a snes or gamecube beforehand
the wii looks like a great little machine and pretty fun too, because of the interaction with the controller, but the problem with nintendo has always been the fact that they are limited to the usual, mario, wario, yoshi, games etc. so the xbox 360 or the ps3 would be a better option in the long run I think, but with a ps3, you are getting a blu ray dvd player and a console and internet browser all in one,

Everyone is hyped up about the Wii right now because it's the new toy out. While you save money going with the Wii, you sacrifice graphics. BAD. The little nun-chuck controller they have may seem cool, but if you just want to lay down and chill, you cant do that because you have to be "interactive" with the console. The 360 offers much better graphics, bigger name games, and a bigger marketplace. definately go with the 360.

Wii Rocks!
In terms of Power the 360 is BETTER, but the Wii Game play is 100% better!!

I own both, and both have their good points. Nintendo Wii is very fun, and very immersive, and of course relatively inexpensive.
But The 360 has it's share of really great games, and better graphics than the Wii, but it's still expensive. But the 360 is better for online gaming.

Ya, basically if you want cool graphics and stuff like that, then go for the 360, but if you want enhanced gameplay like you've never played games before, go for the wii.

i just got done after doing an all night bender of caffeine supplements and playing Wii Sports with a friend..and i gotta say, after playing a Wii...i couldn't imagine having any other console.
ok, the graphics aren't as great...but.....the controller is freakin montion sensitive to just about every driection you can turn and twist.
