here is the information I give in regards to Freemasonry. Freemasonry is an oath bound fraternal order of men which derives from the medieval fraternity of Freemasonry. We adhere to many of the Ancient Charges, laws, customs and legends of operative Freemasonry. We are loyal to the civilian government under which we exist. We inculcate moral and social virtues by symbolic application of the operative stonemasons' working tools and by allegories, lectures and charges. Freemasonry obligates its members to obey the principles of brotherly love, mutual aid, secrecy and confidence. We have secret modes of recognition that permit members to recognize each other as brothers. We require a through examination into the mental, moral and physical qualifications of a petitioner and we admit men into the fraternity by secret ceremonies based in part on the legends of the Craft.

Once a man has decided to apply for membership he fills out a petition signed by 2 members of the Lodge he desires to join. He gives the petition to 1 of the members along with the required initiation fee. the petition is read at the next stated meeting and the Worshipful Master appoints an investigating committee to interview the petitioner. these brothers on the investigating committee will report back to the Lodge at the next stated meeting. after this report of the investigation committee the petitioner is voted on by the members of the Lodge in attendance. once the petitioner is accepted he is given the three degrees of Entered Apprentice then the Fellow Craft then the sublime degree of a Master Mason.

There are certain requirements a candidate must meet before he can proceed to the next highest degree and he can not wear any Masonic jewelry until he becomes a Master Mason.

One must have a belief in a Supreme Being and the Masonic Order revers and worships a Supreme Being. contrary to what many think we go to our church or synagogue to worship GOD and the teaching are reinforced by lessons learned at our Masonic Lodge. we go to Lodge to learn to become better husbands, fathers and men.

The tenets of the Masons are Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth.

The Masonic Fraternity is not a secret society but rather a society with secrets. No matter what one has heard the Masonic Fraternity is not Satanic.

Suggest if you are interested in pursuing interest in the Masonic Fraternity if over the age of 18 you contact a man whom you know is a Mason for further information and a petition. if you are under 18 suggest you inquire about the DeMolay Organization.

If you are a Lady the Masonic Fraternity offers the Order of Eastern Star if over 18 or the Order of Rainbow Girls or Job's Daughters if under 18. For requirements and applications please contact a Mason or Eastern Star Member.

If no local Masonic Lodge is available suggest you contact the Grand Lodge of Masons for the State in which you reside

Neither group has an extremely undesirable call. The Illuminati have been a Bavarian political group that endorsed the overthrow of Europan monarchies. They have been disbanded 228 years in the past. Freemasonry strives to make sturdy men extra effective. in specific circumstances that works, in specific circumstances it would not. Freemasonry became a extensive fraternity up until the 1820s, and the Morgan Affair. Then there became some anti-Masonry backlash, and the fraternity club fell. club numbers rose around the time of the Civil conflict, and lower back in WWI and the club went off the charts throughout WWII. The anti-Masonic nonsense rather a lot glided by technique of the wayside as further and further men joined, and it became got here across that the gang is purely a social fraternity. There are nevertheless some who've anti-Masonic viewpoints, yet they don't look to be contributors of the fraternity, they have not carried out any study into what the fraternity is or does, and that they are commonly ignorant and poorly knowledgeable - yet declare some form of Biblical righteousness. Which, of direction, is laughable, because of the fact the Bible's crucial lesson is tolerance. Freemasonry isn't a eating club for men; in certainty, there's a sturdy element of the Masonic Code - the regulations of the fraternity - that cope with alcohol. we are actually not facilitates to drink alcohol in hotel. can't fairly be a eating club in case you could not drink...

Because they are a secret society of, for, and by the wealthy. Proper term is free masons. Skull and Bones is another secret society. They all help each other to control wealth. Most presidents have been free masons. A better question to ask is... how many presidents in the last 150 years were not free masons. The dollar bill itself is a code for all other free masons that they have infiltrated every part of government and financial institutions. For example the pyramid with the all seeing eye symbolises the few on top (free masons) watching over the masses (everybody else including you and I). New world order get used to it. They control media and the information you are allowed to know. President Bush is a skull and bones and coincidently so is John Kerry. So whoever won the last election, skull and bones would still have control. Look into it for yourself because you shouldn't believe anything on the internet, including what I am saying. Find out through some research and don't just take my word for it.

Probably because they've put themselves out there as this secret "men's society" and that is really frowned upon in this day and age. Also, any organization that is geared toward one gender but claims to be based on religion is going to raise eyebrows. Finally, I know a few masons and I still can't figure out what it is they actually give to society. I'd love to know.

mostly because they are very secretive. my grandfather and my father are members of the masons and have been for years. i think they just like to keep a low profile and because of this people tend to speculate. gay.com has an article about a gay mason . i found it very interesting.
