I wake up thinking if I could go back to the future, like those movies what would I change. I wouldn't change anything about my parents, but if I could go back and changed myself, I don't know if I would. Because I wouldn't be the wonderful person I am today.

This notion drives me crazy. I have to believe that if I had done something differently in the past, then down the road it could've somehow led to tragedy.

You can't predict the future now, so you cannot predict "what it would be like now" from a past perspective.

I think that's normal -- all of our life experiences form who we are today. If we didn't have to go through certain struggles or obstacles, we wouldn't learn. If we were born perfect, there'd be nowhere to go. Sure it's nice to say I wish I had been more....when I was younger, but realistically, we need to grow and learn to become all we can be.
