I'm in a teenage band, and its hard to get gigs since were young, how do we do it?

Well, you're probably not going to get any jobs where they serve alcohol so let's see what your options are.
Private parties, especially where people of your own age and musical interests will be.
High school dances and "sock hops" which is what we used to call a dance put on in the school gym because students couldn't wear street shoes on the gym floor. If your area schools don't have these talk to a guidance counselor about putting one together.
Teen clubs if there are any in your area.
Street festivals, especially more local ones.
Block parties.
Do your own concert, maybe invite a few other bands. A good way to get a crowd is to put on a concert for a charity event.
Put together a local "Battle of the Bands" and recruit sponsors to cover expenses and prizes.
There are lots of things you can do if you really think about it. The main thing is don't quit trying. Practice makes perfect.

ahhh. You need a band aid! LOL. Let it be me. Word of mouth is the best for someone like you. You want to start with local parties. Check coffee houses. Quite often they will allow local talent to play and hand out flyers...even sell cds. You may not make money at a coffee house, but you CAN let more people know about your band and it's availability. Do any local battle of the band contests...oh and make tee-shirts and give them to friends to wear.

start out playing parties.. the only other way to get into clubs and bars is to be really good or have a promoter get the gigs for you.

have a party in your garage and maybe kids a little older than you will be there and think you're pretty good and maybe you can talk to them about getting into a gig.
