generally my life is comic, because i can find the funny and fun in it (putting the "fun" back in dysfunction), but there is a mix of tragedy, as with everyone's lives...parents, children, and friends die, illness and unpleasantness are a part of life, we can adopt an attitude of being the sorry victim for ever, or we can mourn and grieve in a healthy way and pick up the pieces of our lives and move on, accentuate the positive, when it is appropriate
life for me is generally very fun and funny. but i say that carefully, because life brings about some hard trials...i have a friend who is dying of cancer and my son was murdered a couple of years ago...these things happen in life...we cry we mourn and we move on we don't ever "get over it", we move on with life, there is a difference...life is to be enjoyed with gratitude...and it seems the hard times make the gratefulness stronger...if that makes any sense at all.

Definitely more of a comedy. I try to have as much fun as I can. Life will provide an ample amount of tragedy for everyone. Try to keep things on the sunny side.

Isn't a tragedy technically when the main character winds up dead? So far, I am not dead...therefore, my life can not be considered a tragedy (at least not in the Shakespearean sense).

However, using this logic, isn't everyone's lifestory eventually a tragedy???

Overall, I would say that my life is happy. I have done most things I wished to do and avoided most of the things I disliked. I enjoy my dreams as much as I revel in my achievements. Some of my failures have been heart-rending. But my successes have always made me joyful. Every single day I put a smile on the face of at least one person other than myself. I try to wipe every tear I see. I don't know that there is much more I can do, as a human being, but if there is, I will try to do it.

A challenge. I have had a lot of challenges in my life. Overcoming the deaths of my parents. Two divorces. Finding my biological parents, going blind, coming out. It seems like I have been challenged my whole life.
