I'm from Serbia, so i think i could give you the answer you're looking. Foreigners all love it, great music, great food, it is cheap, and it's lot of fun, so they say. The problem is that it's really crowded, and there is a lot of alcohol, and where is alcohol-there is trouble, like eveywhere in the world :)
It is safe for tourists, as i already said-it is cheap, and everybody speaks english, so you'll have a great time if come.

You may have the best or the worst time in your life. Depends what you like or not. But, if you want to see a completely different thing compared to what you see every day, don't miss it.
