Your Video Graphic Adapter (VGA) Card type is on-board thus using shared memory from system RAM

Press DEL when powering up , goto setup and you will see that Shared Memory is set to 64MB for Graphic Memory. You can reduce it here if you prefer

it could be that you have install the wrong memory. what speed memory did you put in? you can't mix memory speed or different type memory. so your going to have to establish what memory was in before you installed the new memory stick.

the best thing you can do is look in the motherboard manual and see what type of memory will fit in your computer, if you have not got the manual then get a downloaded versions either from the motherboard manufactures are HP websites
