Mutilate or Shadowstep builds? Question for the rogues of World of Warcraft. Additional comments appreciated!?

Also state WHY you consider that Mutilate/Shadowstep builds suck/rock. This question is meant to help the entire rogue community :)

Haven't heard too many comments on Shadowstep just yet - don't know any rogues in beta who specced that way. My guess is that it would be good for PvP - make it easier to get the jump on someone from stealth. Nothing worse than trying to chase somebody when they won't stand still to get ganked. ;) The biggest problem I can see for it would be that Subtlety is still viewed as the weakest tree. Mind you, it's gotten a *lot* better, and it could just be that perception hasn't quite caught up yet. With Cloak of Shadows being turned into a skill, I'm not sure how many rogues are going to stay deep Subtlety.

I know a few raiding rogues who went mutilate, and positively love it. They're saying that their damage is stellar, though looking at the damage charts recently, I'm not seeing an overly drastic increase. At the same time, it seems a pretty good spec for PvP too, especially if you snag things like the improved kidney shot.
