This is pretty normal, and if the baby doesn't seem to be distressed when it happens, it's probably nothing to be alarmed about. If she is screaming or crying, then it may be time to call the doctor.
I've mentioned the same type of thing to my doctor, and she said it's normal. She could be eating too much, or too fast, or perhaps you may want to try burping her after each ounce and see if that helps. She may be getting air bubbles from the bottle.
Don't let anyone on here alarm you into thinking you need to feed your baby something different. Don't change what you are feeding her until you consult her doctor.
So, remain calm, and don't worry too much if she doesn't seem distressed by it. It could just be normal baby spit-up. Keep in mind that "Spit happens" :-)

Well it could be something you are eating that is getting into your milk . I would evaluate what your eating and if it is that change it . I know coffee and stuff that will cause stomach acid isn't good like Pizza fast food stuff like that . Even though your not pregnant no more you still got to eat healthy like you are . Now if this isn't the case i would get her checked by your doctor . they might recommend you adding rice cereal to your breast milk to help . If not there is a formula for this called Enfamil A & R . Hope this helps .

Some babies really spit up a lot and to parents it seems like the child could not possibly be retaining much. Actually they do retain more than it seems. It could be that she has times when her digestive system slows down some and so she is still full when you go to feed her again, or partly full. That time it would seem more like vomiting than spitting up.

I have a 4 month old and she spits up all day. She has acid reflux and is on Zantac which seems to help a lot. Could your baby have acid relux?

you need to see your doctor about it she may not be able to digest the milk properly and you may have to put her on formula. Are you on any medication or do you smoke?? Anything you put into your body your baby will take into hers through your milk.

Don't sweat it; if it's just once a day you're lucky. If she's not unhappy or miserable with it, it's not colic or reflux, just normal baby spit up.
