i don't use limewire, but i would imagine that it would require that you convert the songs to a form that the iPod can understand. When you import your songs, if it doesn't immediately ask you to convert to AAC then you can do it manually.

1. Go to file and choose add file or add folder (it is easier if it is in a folder because you can convert more than one song at a time).
2. It should automatically tell you that the songs need to be converted. If not go to "Advance" and you will see it

Save the songs from limewire onto your hard drive. It usually save them in your shared folder by default.
Open itunes
Click file
click import
browse & find the file on your computer
then import it into itunes

When you next connect your ipod it will add the new tunes to it.

Shouldnt use lime wire but this is the way you do it-

1. Connect your ipod, open itunes and open lime wire.
2. Download all the songs you want, shift it to the itunes library and then just dragand drop the songs on the ipod icon.
Best of luck but lime wire is illegal and the songs also have worms.
