can we trace e-mail to the real person or organization if the e-mail address, user name and other identifications are bogus and fictitious

If it's junk email, dont even try. They hop all over the net when sending. If it is harassment, call your ISP and see if they have a process in place.

Only program I know can do that is McAffe Virus Scan. It has an e-mail tracer.
