In Lebanon the Shiites feel they have been oppressed by Israel and the US supports Israel. In Iraq the Sunni Muslims were in charge under Saddam Hussein. Saddam oppressed the Shiites and the Kurds. The Shiites in Iraq view the US as liberators in Lebanon the US is viewed as a persecutor.
