Yes, I live close to downtown, and a large Catholic Church rings the bells every Sunday morning at 8:45 . Its not that loud from here, so it has to be a quiet day, and I have to be outside.

Yes unfortunately, not just Sundays, every bloody day! Nothing more relaxing than being woken up at 3 o'clock to hear three loud bells going off.
It's a wonder anyone can sleep within a half mile radius.
Amazing how you are meant to be quiet in a church - but they are ok to ring their noisy bells on the hour.

Yes I do. I hear it every day of the week. The church is right behind my house. The bells go off every hour.

Nope, but here in Kirkuk I can here the call to prayer 5 times a day from both mosques that are near where I am.

I live next door to a Baptist Church built in the 1880's.....tallest, steepest bell tower in town.
