Go to the welfare office and see if they can help you get a low rent appartment. Since she has a child they have to help her. You could also go to a place called Help Me Grow and they might be able to tell you about different programs available. I would try welfare office first if they can't help they might know someone who could.
Good Luck Hope this helps

have her go look for help through the state, there are homelss shelters that will take her in asap, it is better than sleeping on the street. I was 17, prego, and homelss, living in a tent in the local park during winter, freezin, nasty and I was happy to sleep in a shelter on the really cold nights, pluiss they usually give you hot food, which is really nice when your homelss. I hope everything works out.
PS: My husband has horrible credit, and I have none, we were still able to get into an aprtment, just under "conditionary lease", so basically a month to month rental, and if we screw up we are out. We did fine,a nd It helped out credit so much, enough we were now able to buy our new car. Life changes very quickly, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. Good luck.

Hey there are a lot housing placees shelters etc she can get government help for daycare so she can get a job and get a place with lower rent due to her circumstances. I can't believe someone would put a child out on the street unless she really provoked it . I am truly sorry for this situation and I will pray about it.

Check your phone book under Community Support Services, as there are Women's Shelters who will be able to help. Connect with them, she may also be eligible for Social Assistance.
I would also find out where the "father" of the child is, as there is a responsibility that he must also assume.
Good luck to you all.

Try your local social service agencies. There is no reaon for you to suffer like this. Welfare agencies and Child welfare agencies are there. They will help. Approach your pastor. Go to the church and seek help. Go to the family welfare department. Your congressman or ombudsman. Your local elected representative. There are so many ways. This country won't let you down. Help is there if you ask.
Don't put the baby for adoption, if you can help it. You will regret it later.

Look she needs to go and apply for welfare, she can get some cash and food stamps to take care of her and the baby. Investigate low cost housing thru the welfare office and check them out thorougly before deciding. They will add your income an her welfare to gether to determine how much you pay for the apartment but she will get an allowance to help pay her rent to you.

There are halfway houses and women & children's shelters. Call your county and see what is available. If you can afford an apartment, then use it for you and your boyfriend, and get out of his parents home.

17 with a baby? How sad. Try getting help from your local church. Possibly they can help get you/her settled in an apartment.
