I'd say you're wrong. Men seem to be much more loyal. During our evolution men had to rely on each other in groups for things like hunting and war. (Which explains why even today male bonding is based more on activities, even though that's a little off topoic.) I remember watching a program on the Discovery channel about the differences between the sexes, and one of the things they discussed was how men were more loyal with each other. Which was a great strength because it allowed humans to accomplish so much but, it can also cause great tragedies, which explains things like gangs and war. Loyalty is very important between men, that's why you always hear about male friends having "each other's back", or how no guy ever wants to be a snitch. Like somebody mentioned earlier "bros before hos", I don't hear too many women going around saying things like that, but I hear them talking about each other behind each other's backs all the time.

I believe that guys are more loyal than girls. Maybe it's because I'm not liked by girls, because I've got an outspoken attitude and say what I want, but none of my friendships with girls last for more than a month before they lose interest or find someone better to hang out with. The longest friendship I ever had with a girl was three years, and in the end, she broke off the friendship because she found someone more popular than me. Guys don't mind hanging out with me because I have a lot of the same interests. (Video games, computers, violence, arguing for the sake of arguing, etc.) And they like teasing me, because they all think I'm naïve. I guess I kind of am. =P
I'm not saying all girls aren't loyal, because I know I try to keep a friendship going as long as possible. Perhaps you've found some loyal girls, or perhaps you're just not socially impaired, like me.

In my experience it's been the opposite. Boys are more loyal because they get mad, get over it, and you know where you stand. Girls play sneaky games, act like everything is OK, then stab you in the back. I've had several female friendships where I didn't know what was going on: one day we were friends, the next they acted like they didn't know me. I've never had guy friends act that way! But I've heard guy friends say they think women are more loyal. I think women are more loyal to guy friends and guys are more loyal to female friends. Friends of the same sex compete and betray each other in my experience.

Yes, I think the majority of the time girls are loyal friends, but every once in a while you will find a few backstabbbers.

No u just found a loyal friend. It equals itself out when it comes to male and female. It really all depends on the person. Plus u need to make sure that she doesn't have a reason for being so loyal.Like maybe she has a crush on you? Just something to think about.

Definitely! It's more in the mental makeup of a woman to be more honest and loyal. Not that there aren't loyal male friends out there also. I am lucky to have both.

Most of my very best friends are women now, however we have been friends since our late teens. We are all like sisters. I have a few male friends, but I wouldn't tell them the same things that I can speak to my girl friends about. Sometimes I think men gossip more than women!

I think it works both ways, you just may be hanging out with more boys that aren't trust worthy or loyal.

It depends what type of girls. If they are the really annoying, catty type of girls then definitely not! But if they are the type that don't really fit into any social group then yes! I've had better friendships with boys. I guess it's different with the opposite sexes.
