How can you tell which Uggs are the real-deal and which ones are fake when you are looking for some to buy?

Most Ugg's will have a woven label on the outside at the heel with the UGG logo (orange sun, UGG Australia, and (R) near the last G). That label can be copied easily.....look for the (R). Also, it will also have another tag inside (maybe made from non-tear fabric), branded with the Ugg logo, size and content (women's size 9, leather upper, synthetic sole, pure wool lining). the bottom of the boot will usually have UGG embossed on it.
Now....the best way to make sure they are real UGG's is to go to a regular store and buy them. But if you are trying to save, and loooking online or ebay....this will be a little harder. Look for those labels, ask questions (if you can).

Real Ugg boots will have the name on the back of the shoe by the ankle. It will contain the name Ugg written in white and says Australia.
Also you can tell by looking at the sole of the boot, it will have the print Ugg on, if they dont have this then they are fake Uggs.
You will get real Uggs from any big department stores or any really good shoe shop.
The copy Uggs are found everywhere so be carefull if you want to buy real ones.
Just look out for those previous points and will make sure you get real uggs.

they say "Uggs Australia" and you cant try nordstroms, or the official website, to see what the tag looks like, all uggs have the tags on the back heel.
