TO led the league in receiving TDs, sure. He also led the entire NFL in dropped passes, excuses, media blow-ups, suicide attempts and tabloid appearances.
TO is great...this is true, but he's a HUGE distraction and that's where he hurts the team. Honestly, I'd suggest the Cowboys hang onto TO because they got rid of Keyshawn so if they let TO walk then Glenn is the only deep-ball threat.
Romo struggled because there was way too much pressure on a guy who had been a career backup. Bledsoe had the big game experience, but the team and coaching staff gave up on him and that's all there is too it. When the team gives up on you...you're out of a job. The same thing happened in New England and Buffalo.
I'd expect the team to stick with Romo and potentially Bledsoe as well, if he's willing to stick as a backup. But I think Bledsoe could win his job back next year if Romo struggles again. Ultimately, I think the Cowboys would be wise to make a move for someone like Byron Leftwich who figures to be available this offseason.
In the end I think the one guy with the biggest chance of leaving this offseason will be Bill Parcells. He usually goes to a team for 3 or 4 years and then ducks out and bides his time until he finds a new opportunity elsewhere. I feel like his time in Dallas, especially this season, has been very rough on him and he might be looking for some time off.
I think Dallas has a solid core and with a few additions to the defense and potentially bringing in Leftwich this team could remain competitive and find themselves in the playoffs for many years to come.

They do need to get rid of Romo he does suck.
Romo doesn't understand how to use the Dallas players like Bledsoe did. Bledsoe used Witten. When you have weapons in T. O. and Glenn you establish the pass to Witten early. Force teams to respect how good Witten is. Once they do that the outside WR have a little more room to play.
Oh yeah Bledsoe knows how to hold a ball for a game winning field goal.
Dallas can keep T. O. they need to clean house by giving rid of Romo and starting over working on getting a better offense and defense lines.
