No. Here's the problem. What is victory in Iraq? We depose Saddam and destroyed the weapons he had. We've already won! We are fools if we think we can stop the Shiitis, Sunnis and Kurds from fighting with each other. This fight is over religion and has been going on for hundreds of years. We cannot end the violence in Iraq.

No, they would be anything but traitors. They will have put the welfare of the troops above the demands of a power mad president who refuses to admit that he made a mistake.

Since when has disagreeing with a policy meant one is a traitor? Sounds like a lame attempt to bait people into a flaming match.

Has it now become treason to say no to George Bush? The congress is, constitutionally, equal to the president. That means that they are not supposed to just rubber stamp his policies and do his bidding if they collectively think he is making a mistake.

No they are not traitors. There is no requirement that a member of congress that associates with a certain political party vote in lock-step with that parties leader/perceived leader.

No, not traitors.

They're in Congress to decide on policy according to their conscience and what they think is right for America
