Carr's "perfect" cancellation

FROM star-maker to Christmas grinch, Tina Arena's one-time manager and husband Ralph Carr has cancelled his company Chrissie party.
While Santa's been kind to Tina, who is preparing now ahead of her West End debut in a London production of Chicago.
But not so swell for her former management firm, which sighted Carr's "perfectionism'' for axing the annual gathering yesterday.
"We were just not able to find the perfect combination of venue, performers, and date to make it work,'' a spokeswoman explained.
However, music industry elves suggest it may have had more to do with a lack of revenue than venue, with the company's key clients, Kate Ceberano and Vanessa Amorosi, not scoring too many stockings full of cash this year.
NB: her West End 'debut' was Notre Dame de Paris
