I'm sure you only asked it to stir people up but the answer is no, you shouldn't. Somehow I feel dumber for having wasted my time answering this question.

You can believe it if you want to but why would you? Do you have absolute proof that it was committed by the U.S. govt? How about believing that the Holocaust didn't happen? Would you believe that? There are a lot of people who don't believe that certain things did or didn't happen. This doesn't make them right, of course.

You need to look at all the evidence and then make a decision. Be aware, though, that there are those in America who HATE America and will do anything to tarnish the good image of the country. Don't buy into hatred but get into goodness.
