well you probably know this but first you have to type ctrl+shift+c and then the box to type cheats comes down. The best cheat for money is "motherlode" it gives you 50,000 sim bucks. The other cheat that i use the most is "move_objects on" that way if an item or a sim gets stuck while I'm playing the game it will let me move anything and then to turn it off just type "move objects off"

this is an easy cheat for sims 2 and sims - original. This allows you to make easy money within seconds! to open the the cheat code bar type: Ctrl+Alt+Shift+C , then type '!;'. this gives you 1000 simoleons. So typing !;!;!;!;!;!;!; gives you 7000 simoleons!!!!
