We would be doomed. What the country needs is strength, solid Intel, strong military and strong leadership. DEMS are too weak and worried about self absorbing issues like Gays and abortion.

While I'm not without some sympathy for your question I wouldn't call those *ssholes who blew up the federal building in Oklahoma City "borderline" nutjobs. They were about as full blown a couple of nutjobs as you could possibly find.
So long as the Republicans don't get too extreme with their candidate in 2008 and the Democrats fight it out in left field for theirs I think the Republicans should have a good chance of keeping the White House and possibly taking back the senate. the lower house will be trickier to pull off but so long as the fight is between Obama and Hillary for the nomination I think the real winner of that battle will be the Republicans.

Like Waco, Clinton and his hitmen claimed the Davidians had handgrenades and machine guns. After the slaughter of 85 innocent Americans he could only produce 3 handgrenades, all paperweight souvenirs, and 1 real machine gun which was legally registered and owned.

Terrorists would be dancing in the streets. All of their hard work would have paid off. They force are troops out of the War on Terror and give the terrorist's money to leave us alone and wag their finger and act like they will prosecute for every bomb they explode in the U.S.
