Most property appraisers have public information online now. Just look up your county name then plug in "property appraiser" then type in the address you want information on. You will be able to find out what the property actually consists of, buildings, improvements, etc., who bought it, how much they paid, when they bought it and so on.

County Assessors office has that information. Look them up in the white pages in the government listings in your phone book
