its not normal no but its not uncommon at the same time with both my pregnancies i bled pink then brown for two weeks but she must go see her gp to get her booked in for and early scan this is called threatened misscarriage but doesnt mean it is one i have a healthy 2 year old and am about to burst with the 2nd so good luck and tell her not to worry x

Yes, her vaginal secretions will be increased now that she's pregnant, and the pink color is normal, nothing to worry about. If you're worried, check with your doctor. If you see bright red, then you need to see a doctor, but that may also only be a little spotting. I spotted with my first one, but the doctor said just to take it easy, it was not a miscarriage. (Obviously - he's 18 now!) Congratulations!

im nearly 4 months pregnant and last month i was having browny colour discharge. but doctor said it was normal as long as its not fresh red blood. I found out i had a water infection and had some antibiotics to clear it up. She may well have a slight infection.

Whenever I get pregnant I know because around the time of my first missed period I get what sounds like the same thing, but it doesn't go on or last.

This is probably just spotting - which is normal. However, if you are worried it is always worth getting checked out by a doctor.

she needs to visit a doctor asap. i had this with mine and it turned out i'd lost the baby. dont wanna scare you or anything, i could b spotting tho. either way minds need to be put at rest so make her visit a doctor. good luck

Ifg you have been alloctaed a midwife she can ring her and have a chat else ring nhs direct for advice

she needs to go see her GP first thing and he will probably send her to the early pregnancy clinic at the hospital who will check to make sure all is ok

i would see a doctor to be on the safe side, but some women have this through to full term
