Well, here's what I saw from (alleged) pictures and (alleged) editorials about her.
The one picture shown was her hanging on the back of Jessie Jackson like a knot on a log, smiling like a skunk eating s***. She got $202,000 from the D.o.D. (probably to get her to shut the hell up). She went to a book signing at a book store in Texas and nobody bought a book much less had her sign it. She spent time with Castro in Cuba and who knows anywhere else talking against the war. She never even took the time to order a grave marker from the D.o.D. for her son's grave and she could have gotten that for free.
What would you think of her?
I would put her right up there with John Kerry and (Hanoi) Jane Fonda.

Neither of the choices you offer . . .
She's presenting herself as an angry, deceived by political leaders, grieving mother.
Her passionate and very personally cathartic mission, is to awaken the public to the 'reality' of the US government's irresponsible allocation of young folk's lives . . .
purportedly lost in the pursuit and defense of this country's hold on freedom. . .?
If more mothers took up her cause, perhaps the power of the public could be heard and acted upon, here and abroad.

I feel for her. Everyone deals with the loss of a child differently. Seems to me that because she feels the whole war in Iraq is wrong, she feels that her son died for nothing. If you cannot understand that , then there is something wrong with you. Right or wrong, she is entitled to answers, if she refuses to accept party lines, which is what she is getting, then nothing anyone says will ease her sense of grief and indignation. You seriously need to put yourself in her shoes.

Of course I feel sorry for her. However,I think she's trying to relive some kind of rebellious youth at 50.

....A She-Bat From Hell....Yes, yes....But I think she would be a martyr for Satan if someone were to knock her off, if you know what I mean.

Could I request a third choice? She lost her son. She's dealing with it in her own way. It's not my place to judge her grief.
I hope none of us are ever in the position of finding out how we would deal with that situation.

I don't care for her at all. I feel bad for her son who died in Iraq, but she has turned the focus from him to herself. She is selfish. I can do without her.
