I highly recommend you feed your child organic yogurt. There are many brands available at grocery and health food stores. Horizon is a brand to avoid, as they have been cited for using feed lots farms. Dairy products are full of hormones. Organic yogurt is free of hormones and contains beneficial acidipholus, etc. Always read the label, as some flavored yogurts have a lot of sugar in them.....even the organic ones. There is no need to buy yogurt geared for babies. I think the only difference is the smaller packaging, which costs you more money!

You don't have to buy "baby" yogurt. I do get yo baby because I have the opposite problem as you--my baby, like most, DETESTS plain yogurt and I can't blame them! But finding whole-fat yogurt (which is all baby yogurt is) that's NOT plain is hard for me. For example, I would like to get a tub of Mountain High yogurt, whole-fat, to use as it would be less expensive per ounce, but the whole-fat only comes in plain. I suggest you look for it at your local store. Try a trader joe's or other specialty supermarket, too.

Whats the difference between baby and regular yogurt? Cant you just get some all natural plain yogurt and give him that?

We always did... lol. I didnt even realize there was a commercial spot for babyfied yogurts. Iam sure its expensive and nicely packaged.
