1. Sure I feel sorry for him in the fact that he was degraded as a human at his execution.
2. Bush didn't kill him. His own country-men did. He had been handed over to Iraqi authourites.

I side with having mixed feelings. Saddam was cruel and oppressive towards his own people, but in no way did he threaten America. He was not linked to al-Quida and he did not have WMDs. We attacked based on false information, now he pays the price and we inherit this horrible mess.

As an analogy, suppose I thought my neighbor was hiding an illegal weapon he might use against me. And then I tresspass on his property, break into his house, kill his sons, and still don't find this weapon. What would happen to me? At the very least, wouldn't I owe my neighbor an apology? Even if the weapon was there before, if I couldn't prove it, I would be thrown in jail. And yet, our president gets away with doing just that, albeit on an international scale.

Definitley. The USA and the UK went in search for WMD, found none so decided to kick *** to save face. As you can see from that wee clown in North Korea. He is launching them and no one cracks a light. I mean for F&$^ sake. There are people getting murderd all over the place but the USA and UK decide to hammer Iraq. Iran is next on the list. Not unless the oil runs out and USA have no need to be there. They can go and pillage the next country that has a better fuel system than theirs

You shouldn't say bad things about the dead, mention their good deeds...
The guy above makes a good point too, the invaders didn't have a head to cut without their seeked Mass destruction weapons, so Saddam had to go because he represented a revolution against the foreign existence in Iraq...now he is gone and Bush wants to increase forces in Iraq...

Why? Same way I wouldn't feel sorry if I was around when the Nazis were hung at Nuremberg. Get real! BTW,here's some of Saddam's fave past times. On one video,an execution is taking place, and the executioners are singing "Happy Birthday to Saddam" while they kill the poor guy. Yea,he was a real sweetheart.

in a way i do,he was a evil man but at the same time his executioners should have let him finish his prayers before executing him,by the way i do not believe in capital punishment, that is up to god.

I couldn't agree with you more! It seems that there are 1 set of rules for 1 person and another set for the other.
