I am not sure, but I have the same problem with every bottle of regular Febreeze I buy. It does become very aggravating to me.

Call Proctor and Gamble's cuomer service. Tell them about the problem and have product available to give them the UPC code. They will probably send youa coupon for a free can or the equivelent in coupons. If people reported these problems manufactors can correct them.

There is probably a phone number or email address on the bottle.Ive found that most big companies want to hear your complaints and they usually send you a replacement or free coupons to reimburse you for the faulty product.

You can try contacting them and the most they will do is give you a voucher.

If it appears to be a regular prob., as it appears it is, they want to know about it. They will give you the regular spray bottle / bottles free. Their R&D department is very much interested, believe me.

They probably have had quite a few complaints already. P&G is a good company. They are sensitive to consumer complaints.

I had the same problem and called their Customer Service Department who then sent me a pile of coupons to replace the damaged product as well as enough to buy other products they manufacture.

Take it back to the store and tell them the problem, most all stores will give you a new one. They get credits for damaged products.

Call the phone number on the package and complain. If you don't complain about it, they won't fix it.
