Since they like ground meat, the best thing you can do is make a meatloaf and hide the vegetables inside. Just cut them up real small, and you can sneak in zucchini, and peppers...and then serve with carrots and mashed potatoes. Tomato sauce is really good for you, so make a cheeseburger pizza. Try Barilla Pasta Plus (in the yellow box)..it's a multi-grain pasta that has added protien, fiber, and omega-3...and the best thing is it actually tastes as good as regular white pasta. Don't give up on them. Did you know a child has to try something an average of 7 times before they decide they like it or not? Make a new veggie every week, and offer some little reward if they eat it. I used to call it the "Fear Factor Game"...I figured if kids know some idiot will eat pig intestines for 100 grand, they can eat a brussel sprout for a dollar. Have your kids prepare dinner with you. Sometimes if they help make it, they'll be more inclined to eat it, since they know what's going into it.

What town do you live in? Ask your boss what he means by "cheap" - maybe $15 or less per person? $20 or less? Narrow down your list to ones in your price range. If you live in a major city, google the city name and "good seafood restaurants." Call around and ask, "I'd like to have a group of 30 people come in for dinner, and we'd looking to pay under XX per person, including tax and tip." Find one that is willing to do that, and make sure they have a non-smoking section. Google the name of best 2 or 3 places along with "customer ratings" and pick the one that has the best rating.

I personally really enjoyed the seafood buffet at Pariss, located in Marina Square, above Secret Recipe. It had the widest variety of food i'd ever seen at any buffet, and the food was really good. =)

Go to her home and have a dinner if she wants everything inexpensive. Tell her to cook for all of you. From there, she knows how to buy the cheapest food, good, fresh, non-smokey, buffet seafood and in town.

Go to her place.
Ask her to prepare what she wants to eat.
I would rather eat alone or be hungry than to dine with such people.

I don't know that she'll consider it to be "cheap"... but it meets the rest of the criteria...
There are plenty of cheap buffets, but not cheap seafood buffets.
