Anyone who claims to know when the world will end IS AN IDIOT!
AND THE BIBLE SAYS SO! History is full of idiots who made these predictions. They were all wrong. Whoever told you the world was going to end in 2006 can now be placed on this long list. Do this: If you run into another bumkin who is predicting the end of the world, ask him today's pick 3 or pick 4 or this week's lotto numbers. Tell him if he gets those right you MIGHT listen to him!

Somewhere in the next few billion years the sun will swell to a red giant and pretty much wipe out the Earth. Other catastrophic dates unknown, but its come pretty near to it a couple of times, as far as wiping out 90% or more of the life on the planet.
