Doing some planning on my college life after I leave the military. My MGIB pays for my college tuition at the full rate if I'm a full time student. If I enroll in a State University: How many Credits a semester is considered a full time student? Also How long is a semester? Finally, how many semesters are in a year?

Your question's answers may vary by state, and institution... usually 4 three-credit hour classes = full-time status. There are usually 3 semesters per year (Spring, which starts in January, Fall, which starts in August, and Summer, which starts in May/June.) Different institutions may refer to them differently, and some schools are set up on the quarter system.
Each semester is about 15 - 16 weeks long, and Summer is usually 10 - 12 weeks long.
Check online with each university/college that you are interested in to see how their school-years are run.
(OK, this will make things even worse.. some financial aid requires you to be full-time spring and fall, but summer full-time is different... sometimes only9 hours of class. Be sure to check with your MGIB.)

I'm sure it depends on the school you plan to attend and what state school you want to go to, but typically a full time student takes 16 credits. For a first year student most classes are about 4 credits each, so a full time student would be taking four classes at four credits each which would give you a total of 16 credits per semester.
A semester is typically 16 weeks long. If it starts the first week of September it usually ends mid-December. Then, the next semester usually starts at the end of January. If a school uses semesters as opposed to tri-mesters there are 2 semesters per year, then there is usually 1, 2, or 3 summer sessions.
Some schools also have tri-mesters which are a little longer and then they go all year round including the summer and there are three tri-mesters per calendar year.

What is considered a full time student varies by university. The one that I attended considered a course load of 12 credit hours to be full time. For traditional semster colleges, there are two regular semesters in a year. The fall semester runs from late August to December. The spring semester runs from January to May. You can also take summer semester classes. These usually run from mid June to early August. There are some colleges that have quarters instead of semesters, such as Lindenwood College in St. Louis, for the fast track to getting a degree (instead of four years it takes about 2 1/2 years). It's called Individualized Education and each quarter is about 8 weeks. If you have a college in mind, call and ask for their catalog. This will give you an idea of what they offer for classes and if they are a good fit for you.

At least 12 credit hours as an under-grad and 9 hours as a graduate student. A semester lasts about 4.5 months (summer semester being the exception of about a month and a half) and there are 2 semesters (3 if you count the summer semester) in a year.

Most colleges consider full-time 12 credits or more. Depending on the college, the semester is 16-18 weeks and there can be up four to six semesters in a year - winter (sometimes 2 sessions), spring, summer (sometimes 2 sessions) and fall.

Normally, 12 hours. Advice, first year take the minimum to break into college. There are normally two semesters - Fall, Spring, and the two summer sessions where you can take classes also. Last I heard, was 6 hours for the summer session which last about 6 to 8 weeks.. The semester varies with each college as far as starting and ending. But in general, about 4 months, more or less. Talk to the college advisor as soon as you get out. Also, things change, but check on when you get your first check from GI bill too.

I am not sure about the credit i think you should check on your university websites.
1 semester = 16 weeks
1 year = 3 semester ( Semester 1, Semester 2 and Summer Semester)

Go talk to your financial aid officer. They will know. The amount is different from school to school. At my school twelve credit hours is considered full time.
