I have managed to spill some black gloss paint on the lounge carpet that is white. I have covered it up by putting the sofa over it. The wife comes home tomorrow from visiting the mother-in-law and is due to clean the lounge by moving all of the furniture. Will she notice it?
Better still what should I do?
1. Leave home
2. Cut a patch out of some left over carpet and use that
3. Tell her that the dog knocked my hand
4. Say nothing in the hope she doesn't notice
5. Try and clean it up but I don't have much Turps/white spirit
6. Suggest your own solution to this predicament
PS The wife can be very violent at times.

call a professional
develop a plan b that may include but not limited to;
1-pack bags buy bus ticket to anywhere
2-buy new lounge carpet for her birthday/anniversary/whatever
3-sac up and tell her what happened, work together on sollution
4-if she gets violent tell her to seek mental help and seperate from her till she does. NO ONE should have to endure abuse

Buy a small circular rug to cover the paint stain and put a large plant in a nice pot on top of it. Good luck

try and clean it (go get some more white spirits) I'm not sure that will do any good but worth a try
if it don't remove it then tell after you have told her you have booked a table at her favourite restaurant for the two of you then that will smooth the way for you
i would forgive if i was taken out

Id go with whats behind door number 2....cut a hole around the black area and put a piece shaped about the same with glue on the backing and push it through the hole ,line up the fibers ...and walah!!!

Leave the country. Go far far away were she can't get you. Change your name and become a hermit only coming out in severe emergencys! failing that you could just tell her the truth. If you lie and get found out it will be 10 times worse in her eyes

get a professional cleaner in less chance of messing the cleaning up totally!!
Yes she will notice it we women do have a knack for these things but dont let her tell you that she has had an accident like this.
PS.........how fast can you run ????? and on a serious note if she is violent why stay mf ?

u shud buy a new carpet if not then say that alienz came dwn, anal probe you and put black paint on the carpet to mark their territory.
