I love fantasy like "Sabriel" by Garrth Nix - anybody have any must-reads to recommend? I'm 19, by the way.
Thanks for any suggestions!

Garth Nix is one of my favorites, too. In addition to the authors mentioned above, try these:

Tamora Pierce (Song of the Lioness quartet, Circle of Magic series)
Nina Kiriki Hoffman (A Fistful of Sky)
Charles de Lint (The Blue Girl)
Cornelia Funke (The Thief Lord)
Diana Wynne Jones (Chronicles of Chrestomanci)
Peter S. Beagle (The Last Unicorn)
Diane Duane (Wizards series)
Christopher Paolini (Eragon)
Brian Jacques (Redwall series)
Scott Westerfeld (Midnighters series)
Mercedes Lackey (Arrows of the Queen trilogy)
Jonathan Stroud (The Bartimaeus trilogy)
Jeanne DuPrau (The City of Ember)

The Earthsea series by Ursula K. LeGuin is excellent. You may also enjoy the Dune series by Frank Herbert, and the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov. J.R.R. Tolkien's Hobbit, and the Lord of the Rings series are also excellent books. The first 9 books of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series are worth reading.
