I have various printers names listed from the old desktop setup. Generally, I need to review and delete unnecessary names of components without eliminating printing functions. I have two printers networked with both computers.

Usually, your router picks up on this kind of change automatically, and will fix the problem. If not, then all you need to do is manually delete what printers you don't want, and add what printers you do want. On new computers, going to Add New Printer, and selecting "Network printer", will search your entire home network for printers and then give you a selection of what to do with each one.
