Taking a long weekend to Phoenix and don't really know how to pack. Shorts, Capri's, sweaters? If it is 70 and I wear shorts will I look out of place?

I have lived in Phoenix for years and you can wear just about anything and won't look out of place. I was out with a group of friends last night and I had on a halter top and pants...another girl had on a sweater and shorts...another girl had on jeans and a short sleeve shirt. It's been nice here during the day but colder at night. I don't know what you plan on doing while you're here, but it might be a good idea to pack a coat or sweater for night.

Well when Iived in Phoenix, it did get cold...mostly at night! Sometimes the temperature got down to 40 or 30! But during the days it can range from 50-low 70's.

Just pack some light clothes you can layer and take off when you get too warm. I've seen women and men wearing shorts, but most of those people aren't the locals! hehe

The year I spent in Phoenix during the winter, the wind was constant & we all wore long pants, long sleeve coats and avoided being outdoors whenever possible . It was horrible.
I recommend following the weather sites by entering Phoenix or the zip code where you will be staying.
Maybe this year will be different . . . pray !
