There is no end... just as day turns to night, it returns to day...
It is cyclical as it is sequential... like a spiral.

The world as we know it, yes. There's too much stacking up against us to ever expect to live through it without some major changing.
Think of it this way....the Black Death killed perhaps a hundred million folks altogether. It was only limited by the speed of travel and the density of the victims. If you caught it, you died before you got too far. A disease on the same scale today would probably kill billions because a victim from Asia can be in the US before he dies and the population density is so great that we would *ALL* be exposed. It's just a matter of time.
Any single person, you or me or any terrorist or any pissed off postal worker etc can easily find the means to kill hundreds if not thousands before he/she/it/we/they/whomever can be dealt with. There's never before been a time like that in history.
Nations today can easily destroy other nations. There're more weapons capable of mass destruction today than ever before in history. The more of those you have, the greater the chance that one will be used.
Yes, I believe that we're living in the end times. Every day the odds against us go even higher.

Not the end of the world but major changes will probably take place before long. The Piscean Age has just closed and the Age of Aquarius has begun. As ages change over so does the planet. In the Bible we read about the great flood that gave mankind a fresh start. We've got so many problems widespread across the planet now that a fresh start may be the only way to fix that. So, if we have some major upheavals take place in the near future it would come as no surprise. I think we could avoid it if we could make the planet a more harmonious, loving planet but can we do that?

The World is not going to end now but the software (so to speak) that the world has been running on will end and a new program will be downloaded at the time of the shifting of the axis of the Earth which you will experience within your life time.
The Mayan and Tibetan (the time keepers of the Planet) say the old program ends in 2012.

-the ancient and extinct mayan culture, known to have the most advanced and accurate calendar predicted the end of the world(as humankind would know it) to the precise day of december 21, 2012.
-a national geographic explorer/philosipher/professor investigating ancient civilizations has said through out his lifelong career studies that clues has led him to believe there is going to be a world disaster of humankind (guess when?) AD 2012.
-Jesus Christ was asked by one of his desciples when the 2nd coming (and the rapture/judgement day/heaven on earth) would be and He replied that the generation that would see israel become a nation for the 2nd time would see His return. that happened may 14,1948.
-the book of revelations or the early gospels has written that no man will know and it will come as a thief in the night.
-myself personally believe that human kind with our intelligence and technology will destroy ourselves within 20 or so years due to greed and unreplenished natural resources. but the world will continue on another million years or so until the sun begins its enlarging and natural course of burn out which will be as a whimper compared to how some other stars extinguish. but it will be too hot for us to survive on this planet, as the sun will last another 6 million years after that and this little solar system of ours out on the edge of all the big stuff will be gone.

Yes I do. There are so many bad things going on. But, we have alot more to go. I am 41, and if I should live to be old, I think it will end by then. If not my time, then definately before my children grow old. The wars, people not caring, families not sticking together, the strange weather everywhere, etc. The world can't take much more of people's abuse.

I agree with Mithra, it is not so much the end of everything but an end of an era. I don't know how close we are to the end of this age since astrologers have different opinions, but I sure hope we're SUPER close to the of this stupid picean age and all the gods and religious beliefs that came with it...YUCK! If that's what the tribulation is all about then BRING IT ON!

I don't think it's close to the end of the world because the world has to pay for it's all wrong doings and it will take an awfully long time to free from the debt.

No, I don't.
Do some serious study into history and you will see that the unrest and corruption of today have been a constant in our past. We are always on the verge of destroying something and some part of ourselves. Each generation finds itself questioning if it will be the last.

It has been close to the end for decades now. If the end of this planet is possible we only have ourselves as humans to blame for this.
