If someone starts texting you, say for instance... 'hey, whats up' then u reply & ask them whats up & don't get a reply... or your msging then they just stop. It really irritates me & I think its rude... I just don't know what to do about the guy I like thats started doing this...

Yeah, its quite irritating; I've been on the receiving end of it a couple of times... But the thing is, some do not consider it as a start of conversation - its like they think of you and go 'hey there'. There are not really looking for a good long talk, but just to say hi... But still, I think its quite rude not to respond. A reply is mandatory for your reply to 'whats up'... Hehe... At least thats what I think!

It is frustrating isn't it!
It may not mean anything, obviously one of you have to stop somewhere if it's just silly words going back and forth between you.
on the other hand, if it is a serious conversation you're having, and he just stops replying, it could be his battery is flat, he has to go eat, go bathroom, OR he's not that interested in the way the talk is going.
Maybe he's just a bit ignorant, my daughter doesn't answer my texts for a week or more, I really hate it, but she just doesn't think, he could be the same.
Maybe the only way to know why, is to ask him....

awww its really annoying isn't it!?! my bf does it all the time, its usually jus cos he forgets what i ask...so i keep asking til he remembers lol :D
