Well, first it depends on what state you're in from time to time. But, I totally feel like all patients with a dying illness should be able to enjoy some good pot. I of course do not smoke, but who hasn't in their lifetime right? But, to answer your question, no it's no illegal if the dr. prescribes it to you. I hear that they make THC pills so instead of getting the harmful effects of the Tar and smoke, they just pop a bill and enjoy the buzz. It doesn't cure their illness it just simply takes a lot of their pain and anxiety away . Hope this answer helps.

Smoking pot is almost always illegal but the penalties for possession of small amounts--like a couple of ounces--are extremely light. In my state, the fine is less than a speeding ticket. And it's not ok in California. In California, it varies from county to county.

Where smoking pot is legal, it's also legal for cancer patients.
And where it's illegal, it's illegal for cancer patients, too.

Why should there be a difference?

Yes AND no. Some states permit it but the BIG BROTHER KNOWS WHAT'S BEST FOR YOU Federal government will still bust you any chance they can get--cancer or no cancer.

``God bless America?'' Think about that statement a moment....does anyone actually believe the Almighty blesses quasi-totalitarian Police States? I sure don't.

I don't know... I've read that cancer patients who do prefer to smoke pot, does this to relieve pain. So... To MY opinion, whether it is legal or not, if it brings relief to these people - WHY NOT?
