Write either to the club itself, or Sir Alex Ferguson, or the young man's favourite player, all c/o Manchester United Football Club, Sir Matt Busby Way, Old Trafford, Manchester, M16 0RA.

I would suggest you included as many details about the young man and his illness as possible, along with details of his favourite players, etc., and how long he's been a Man Utd fan.

Good luck!

(I hope this helps, particularly as it comes from a Liverpool fan)!

When my daughter had leukaemia, someone (we never found out who) wrote to Leeds Utd & they sent her a signed shirt & team photograph. Tickets to Gary Kelly's testimony match, & a lovely hand written letter from Garry Kelly. This was when Rio, Alan Smith, Mark Viduka, Harry Kewell & all the other greats played.
Maybe you could write, email, phone MAN UTD & tell them hat his situation is & that it's his wish to meet or get some memorabillia from the club.

@completely "it rather is plenty worse while injuries are centred in a definite component of the pitch." yet yet another thoroughly biased answer mate. Arsenal's injuries have been all on strikers! the only way we made up for it replaced into our midfield or maybe that replaced into hit. in case you bear in ideas wisely, Arsenal did okay with out our "one guy group" Fabregas. Rooney is the such as RVP, probable extra seeing as he actually has stored Utd in, so if he replaced into injured then this may be a diverse tale. i do no longer think of every physique could possibly handle their significant guy long previous and that is composed of guy United! once you're observing the numbers of injuries and the seriousness of them, Arsenal wins that palms down. we've had midfield enjoying extra defensively to make up for defence injuries, that merely desires a change around of the gang. to respond to your question, Arsenal have had an prolonged checklist of injuries by using the season kinda centred on the strikers. explanation why no person is known this (different than for gooners) is because of the fact our group made up for it. yet guy Utd have been additionally in a foul subject having all their defenders out for the comparable time. IMO, and this could look biased because of the fact i'm an Arsenal fan, it rather is the strikers that are extra good to make up because of the fact they are people who actually shop you in the game by potential of scoring the targets. all of us in the gang can shelter, its area of being a footballer. protecting isn't the comparable ingredient and Arsenal have been fortunate that Cesc has stepped up..
