What happened to the middle class that did all the work and fought the wars?

Well, the 1% is the only group doing well.
The middle class is still present but under attack and slipping lower as a whole, as health costs and insurance, fuel costs, local taxes, & college costs put a drain on their purchasing strength.

The welfare class is almost gone, and has been replaced by a working-poor class, that is actually less able to provide for themselves health-care wise than the poor unfortunates who must rely on welfare.

The middle class split into Upper Middle Class (the wanna-be millionaires) and the Lower Middle Class (who make too much money for welfare, Medicaid or other assistance programs). So there are about 4 classes in America.

We'll I'm not part of the 1% and I am not on Welfare, so what would you consider me?

Obviously not, since 99% of Americans are not on welfare.

The unique thing about our poor is they are fatter than the wealthy...tell me another country where that can happen? This truly is the best country on Earth...
