Mate, you have said it all, kick him to the kerb! You KNOW he has lied, you are not stupid, just clutching at straws. Just allow yourself to do that for 24 hours only.

You have got to be worth so much more then that!

You have not lost a 5 year relationship, but worse - TRUST, the relationship is worth nothing with out it. Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

You will go through all the emotions, hurt, bereavement, anger, but at the end of the day, treat yourself to a new hairdo, some new gear, and get out there, there has got to be someone who will treat you better, and make you happy! Good luck!

What's going on there then?
Ask him what the hell is he playing at? He might be cheating on you babe, you just got to ask him strait.
Dumping someone before xmas is wrong coz xmas is suppose to be a happy time.
Has he ask you out again? If he has say no coz he's playing with your mind and after five years, why does crimbo seem the best time to dump someone.
If you're going out with him already, dump him before he ditches you again.
But, if you love him that much not to ditch him, tell him how you feel and ask him wether he feels the same.

Don't worry if it doesn't turn out, find someone new and make sure he knows that you don't love him anymore.(that's only if you actually don't)

Well, I don't think he is being completely honest with you. His feelings may have developed for this new woman whilst you were still together, and he may have done the 'honourable' thing, and ended it with you before he let anything happen. I do find that hard to believe, but then you never know. He's trying to protect someone here, but I'm not sure if it 's you, or him ...

I know how gross you feel right now, and hope you get an abundance of strength from somewhere somtime soon ... Answers will let themselves be known in time, my lovely ...

Well, no.

He's probably completely lying.

But, I guess the question now is: Does it matter?

Obviously, anyone who would dump you like this just to rub your nose in his new relationship for the holidays is useless. I know this has got to hurt like hell right now, but you're better off without him. Take some satisfaction in the fact that he probably won't treat this next girl any better.

Take care of yourself...

Unless he fell victim to instant attraction, while drowning his sorrows over the split then the immergence of another woman so soon seems hard to believe.

Good look in finding your perfect partner.

he's lying...he was seeing this girl before you split...he cheated on you, for hw long, i don't know, but he was definitely NOT faithful to you during your relationship....no one would walk into a new relationship so oon after breaking up...i don't care what he says....he was with her before...forget him, let her bear the brunt of him, because he'll do it to her once he gets fed up with her, find a nice trustworthy man hun, this one is not honest, and don't believe him when he tells you that nothing was going on before he split with you...he's lying....and for gods sake...don't take him back
