Yes / Because they are spoiled brats, because their parents wanted to give them everything they didn't have, like freedom of choice, in my day there was only two choice's,obey dad...or dads belt... i also blame video games for their part in the lazy factor.

you're accurate Lisa. lower back contained in the day it turned right into a actual positioned right down to no longer have the capacity to communicate the language real. each area had it truly is twang for sure. contained in the U. ok. also there have been an excellent type of diverse accents. yet utilising ideal grammer become significant if one wanted to get ahead in life. So it become drummed in to our youthful heads from the first day of college till we graduated. i'll keep in options once you would possibly want to get a slap on the wrist or lower back of your hand for utilising the be conscious "ain't." Even the poorest childrens wanted to sound state-of-the-paintings. Oh, for sure we had our slang words, yet lower back that become quite oftentimes community, except for the words that got here out of the flicks. Taking English Literature turned right into a required concern all by way of college. And spelling bees were a very enormous deal lower back then. Orwell, in his e book 1984 stated a time even as the society and the authorities might want to apply "new communicate." i imagine that factor has arrived.

yes its true you are a lazy generation as for the why part. because your use to getting your way. you don't find kids getting up and working any more its oh let mom and dad take care of us.
but here is the real problem its the parents and what i mean by that is as a parent you want to give your kids things that you never had or you don't want your kids to work like you had to work. well i ask whats wrong with having your kids work it teaches them so much out of life. what does having them sitting around playing the play station watching the tv teach them nothing but pure lazyness. pluss not to mention the youg generation is rude

I suppose we have it easier than the older generations. We have microwaves, online shopping, online banking, online chat services so nowadays you don't really have to leave your home (or computer desk) to get things done. We have machines that do our laundry, machines to make coffee, dry cleaners, satellite tv, home cinema systems etc. Trouble is we have to work twice as hard to be able to afford all these "must have" apliances. I'd say this generation is much more stressed as nowadays you have to be the perfect everything. Perfect cook, perfect employee, perfect housekeeper, perfect parent and on top of that you must have the perfect 32" widescreen plasma tv or you're nobody! People like myself are far more chilled out and do not see posessions as a measure of my success however many do.

The Government is to blame initially for banning the use of the belt to instill a reasonable level of discipline.
Kids today think they can do and say what they want without any reprisals whatsoever.
I certainly wouldn't want to be a teacher at present very stressful.
If there is no element of basic discipline then you will have chaos followed by anarchy then war.

Yes it is, and that is because as parents we strive to give our children things we never had before. This generation was given so many different things that weren't even around in our youth. They have become spoiled and expect things now, not like we were when we were young.

Please don't tell me I am lazy, I work hard in school, I have a job were I basically lift 20 pound bags back and forth, I don't ask my parent's for money, I'm in 2 club's at school, one is a volunteering club so I volunteer, I play 3 different sports, and I still have time to eat dinner with my family and spend time with my family and friends. You could say that the kids who have rich parent probably don't work that hard, but I am not rich and I worked hard to by my own car and my clothes and my computer.

Yes there are a lot of young people out there that expect things to be handed to them on a platter.
Their parents were able to give them more & this has spoiled many of them.
But there are also many hard working young people out there too.
