I spotted about 1 week ago also, but it was very little. This one started light yesterday and now it's kind of heavy where I'm wearing a tampon. It's also darker than usual, doesn't look like my normal periods. Should I be concern or could this be my period but just very early? Thank you!!

This could be a normal change in your cycle. The due date is actually an estimate and actual flow may be affected by many causes. If it is very different, you may want to make an appointment to see your Gynocologist. If you do not have a Gynocologist, you should get one.

This can be normal. As you get older, your period will change. The warnings you use to get (cramping, headaches, irritablity, craving for sweets) all may change. You may go from 4 days to 3 or 3 days to 5.

If you're sexually active, make sure you're not pregnant. Spotting isn't a good thing if you're pregnant. If you're not pregnant, I'm sure every thing is fine.

it could just be that you are under stress or have changed your diet or other reasons to make your period a little unregular. it has happen to me before. unless you have pain or feel that you could possibly be pregnant i would not worry about it. if it happens again next month i would go to talk to your doctor about it.
